The timing on this post is unfortunate given what's going on around Los Angeles, but this isn't fire, just clouds lit up from beneath by the sun around sunset. This is another shot straight out of the camera, all I did was reduce the resolution for posting on the blog.

Wonderful sunset shot. We do not get sunsets like this.
ReplyDeleteTruly Amazing
ReplyDeleteThat's a really cool shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat an inferno glow to that sky! Wonderful shot!
ReplyDeleteTerrible fires in CA - close to my cousin, so we are hoping they are safe.
Fiery Sky
ReplyDeleteWow! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMagnificent sunset Al, the fires are so shocking in California, my heart goes out to them ✨

Really a beautiful shot! Glad to hear it's not related to the fires. I've lived in S CA most of my life and never seen anything as bad as what we are currently experiencing.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like it was a spectacular sunset, AL! So sad to see the fires in LA. As Coloradans we know that can easily happen here.
ReplyDeleteWow...
ReplyDeleteIt is an amazing sunset, but yes, I wish the red glow in the California skies today was from this source and not that other.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Al...
ReplyDeleteWe had record rains at this time last year. This year, nothing! The news isn't even really covering the smaller fires. They are all over the place.
Whoa! What an explosion!
ReplyDeleteWorth a Thousand Words
Wonderful sky.
ReplyDeleteThat is so beautiful - although, I have to admit, after seeing those horrible wildfire photos (I know someone whose daughter lives in one of the cities devastated by the previous fires)I may never look at orange skies in the same way again. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteGlorious shot...I imagine the sun was probably already below the horizon.
