Fox Run Park Trees

I went to the local Fox Run Park over the weekend hoping to see a little fall color. It was too early, but I did see some beautiful Skywatch Friday trees.

They add a lot of character to the area.

The most famous sight is probably the Lone Cypress - it's even protected by a copyright!

I'm sure a photo of a tree for Skywatch Friday isn't a surprise on this blog. I love the shape of this one, and my fisheye lens exaggerated everything about it! I was just about on the ground in a nearby park to take this.

Here's the first of a handful of photos from Washington, DC back in 1990 when I lived in the area. I remember taking these photos - a group of coworkers and I went down to the cherry blossoms during lunch hour.

Fox Run Tree

I always love taking the dogs to Fox Run Park, and I can often find a fun shot there for Skywatch Friday. This recent one was taken with my 6.5mm fisheye lens.

A few months ago I was in central California and visited Montaña de Oro State Park on a stormy day. It's a truly beautiful place, and I'll start by showing you some interesting trees.
