Fox Run Park

I love taking our dog Socks for a walk in the nearby Fox Run Park. Here are a couple of photos from one such walk.

In my mind, Fox Run Park always qualifies for a Scenic Sunday post.

  3. The tree with the right angle branch reminds about how Indians used to bend a tree this way. It had some meaning, but I just can't remember what it was about. I'm sure it will come to me in the middle of the night sometime! That's how it goes with my brain. I love the color and texture of the bark. We just need to be able to smell that pine.♥♫

  4. Gnarly, twisted trees make great subjects. Yours in spectacular!

  5. It certainly does qualify for Scenic Sunday~ (of course it isn't very hard to find qualifying places where you live ;>) . I really do love that gnarly tree.

  8. What a nice parc to walk in. Love this old and beautiful tree. Thanks for your comment...I wish I could send some rain clouds to you. Rain damages houses and roads here now.
