I agree with Sallie...aspens and the Colorado blue sky are beautiful! It is sad that the leaves are almost gone - though I suppose all of you are eyeing out the ski slopes. :)
Great perspective! Did you crane your neck or lay on the ground beneath them to get this shot? The leaves look like golden lace against that sky. (I'm glad these aspen have survived all the carving in their trunks, poor darlings!)
So beautiful! At first I thought all the markings were natural and then I looked again...the trees don't seem to have suffered permanent damage though.
