A couple of weeks ago I posted some photos from a hike in Washington State. Here are a couple more photos from that hike. First here's a moss-covered tree with a little snow, in some glorious sunshine.
And here's one looking straight up through those tall Washington pine trees.
These seemed right for Skywatch Friday.

Love both of these; reminds me of "home" (our other one, where we'll be soon)....The angle on the second picture is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThat second photo is amazing! Glad you had the glorious sunshine, too.
ReplyDeleteYep - moss and trees are a familiar sight in my neck of the woods. Like your second shot of the treetops. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! and a cool one no 2! The pine trees there are veeery tall I can see! =O
ReplyDeleteI started to think one day that the tornado was at your place :/ But I always seem to mix your state with Oklahoma. It was terrible! But I'm glad you did not have any there at your place!! :)
Oh WOW. just look at that phot.. Al you have an eye... thank you :-) x x x
ReplyDeleteGreat, that's beautiful. I've always seen photos like your 2nd, but i haven't taken one like that. Maybe because i haven't been into a forest like that or maybe coconut trees can also provide that effect. Is that because of a special lens?
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots of the tree. I really like the composition of second shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of trees, Al. The perspective of the second photo is amazing, stunning!
ReplyDeleteThat last shot is gorgeous!

I too am a fan of taking photos with this perspective - I relaly love the 2nd one in particular. How lucky you are to live in such a beautiful place. I leave soon to spend the next few months in Gig Harbor. Excited!

I love the second photo... It's kind of magical or something. Love it.
ReplyDeleteRegards from Barcelona.
I'm still amazed by the moss and now the tall trees, too.♥♫
ReplyDeleteThese are truly tall trees! I also love to look up to the sky when I am under trees - the colors of the leaves in summer and fall go well with the blue of the sky.
ReplyDeletei love the 2nd photo...what a cool shot, i feel like an ant.:p
