Love kangaroo, Al! In Portuguese the name is "canguru". I read on Google that the largest species in the family are called "kangaroos" and the smallest are generally called "wallabies". Great photo, Al! Thanks! I wish to visit Australia and to see them jumping around!
They are so exotic to us, but I visit an Australian blogger who sees them on her ordinary walks...I imagine it kind of like seeing rabbits (or prairie dogs for you) maybe. I'd love to even see them in a zoo actually.
Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment - I love reading them and look forward to viewing your blog. If you only allow Google+ comments I won't be able to leave a comment in return.
Born in London, I've lived in The Netherlands, New York, and Washington DC. Now I've settled down in Colorado and love taking pictures. Until October 2014 I used a Nikon D40X, but now it's a Nikon D5300. I do almost no photo editing - occasionally I will crop or remove a dust spot, but that's all. What comes out of the camera is what you see here.
