The snow hasn't been great this year, so I've been waiting to head up to Copper to ski. But I made the trip on Saturday, and despite the holiday-weekend crowds had fun and took a couple of shots with the cell-phone. The rope in the lower-left of the photo marks in-bound terrain.
I managed to stay away from most of the people. It's always nice to be in the mountains!

Yay! Glad you were able to hit the slopes! Your mountains are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWith scenery like that I don't think I would want to stay away for very long.
ReplyDeleteOMG, i wish some of your cold winds will be blown this way. We suddenly got the very high temps in a matter of one night, from colder to very hot, no transition. 26C to 32°C. According to my Scottish friend it is hot to super hot!
ReplyDeleteAmazing
ReplyDeleteHope you get your heart's worth of skiing.

Great snow and mountain photos. I am surprised you took time to take pictures while skiing.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous view! And no crowds!
ReplyDeleteOh ... it looks like a loooong way down. I've always admired skiers! Glad you had fun. :)
ReplyDeleteThe snow looked good up there! We had 6 inches the other day in the foothills--glad for all the moisture!
