Kyongju, South Korea

I'm going back to South Korea for this 1998 Vintage Weekly photo, to the city of Kyongju or Gyeongju, as Tina's PicStory theme this week is K. This is a burial mound, kings were buried in these many centuries ago.
The people give some sense of the size of the mound.

  1. Oh, that is awesome, Al!! And what a terrific capture! I the pale skies and rich green of mound as well as the colorful flowering tree! Hope your weekend is going well and that you and Socks have had some "quality" time together!! Give him a hug from us!

  2. That's a pyramid-sized mound! It helps to have people in this picture.
