2008 Cloudy Peaks

Here's a photo I've had in my to-post folder for a while, from a 2008 trip to the Colorado mountains. I figure it will make a fun Skywatch Friday shot with sun, snow, blue skies, clouds, fog - just about everything except a rainbow.
I want to take a drive into the mountains in the next couple of weeks - although it's been dry where I live in the foothills, there's lots of snow up there.

  2. Hi Al, the first time I saw snowcaps from the distance, I was so thrilled. It was in Antalya , Turkey. Then when on a plane above Italy I tried so hard extending my neck to get longger view of the snowcaps, but in your case it is just a normal view!

  3. Nice looking landscape!

Bird photography needs a good deal of patiences, longish lenses and a bit of luck. I also take lots and lots and lots of images - most of which end up in the waste bin!
