From last week's long-distance shots of
Morro Rock (apparently I misspelled it last week as there's no 'w' on the end), here are shots taken up at the rock itself.
It's a volcanic plug, and quite impressive.
And even on a cold, stormy day like the one when I visited, the California surfers were doing there thing!
Great photos of the rocks, Al!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Al, for your nice congratulations to my 12ยบ blog anniversary. I am glad you like the beautiful Pink Tabebuia.
Great pictures, I can see the regular Californian sea fret there. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeletenature is glorious
ReplyDeleteFantastic photography ~ love the majestic look to the rocks and the smoothness of the lovely beach ~ ^_^

The surfer looks a bit cold and a bit lonely -- neither of which are my favorite states of being. But I would love to be on that beach with one or two selected others -- just to walk and admire!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful rock formations.
ReplyDeleteSuch rocky beauty!
ReplyDeleteMorro Rock is a beautiful stop on a trip along California coastline.
ReplyDeleteWorth a Thousand Words
Love the empty beach photo other than the surfer. Great colours on the rock.
ReplyDeleteApparently it takes more than a chilly day to discourage surfers. Your photos are fascinating.
