Final Fall Foliage
In my world, fall is quickly coming to an end and winter will be here before long. Here are the last shots of colored fall foliage in my area.
These shots were all taken on a Saturday hike up the Palmer Lake Reservoirs trail.
Most of the leaves are already gone.
Still, by picking carefully it was possible to find an occasional impressive tree.

You seem to have a short, sharp autumn. Here we still have many green trees.

That last shot is breathtaking. Here, the leaves haven't even really begun to turn.

ReplyDeleteSo very loevly photos! Autumn gives us much joy, that is true, but as in your pic #2 - sorrows.. It really has loosed its colors.. The first pic so warm and close.. Here where I live the leaves have both gone and are still hanging on their mother trees.. :) Sure you had a nice day Saturday! :)
ReplyDeleteWe are just reaching peak color but it won't be long before the trees are bare and that white stuff starts piling up.
