For Our World Tuesday and Sunday Bridges, here are my last photos from Portland, Oregon. This is the Morrison Bridge.
If you've been reading my blog for a while you've probably figured out that I'm fascinated with bridges. Unfortunately there aren't many where I live, so I have to photograph them when I'm on vacation.

A favorite of mine, having lived in Portland for a number of years! Terrific captures, Al, as always! Have a wonderful week!

Wonderful shots of great looking bridge.
ReplyDeleteGreat perspective!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of the bridge and the sky is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. I like seeing the over and underside of bridges. We have lots of them in the Vancouver, BC, area. You’ve made me think that cataloguing them would be a fun thing to do should time permit. :))
ReplyDeleteI love bridges, great perspectives and shots.

The way you've made these shots is very nice!
I love bridges. Some day I'm going to get to Portland and see this one! :D
ReplyDeleteWhat a formidable looking bridge. Interesting compositions.
ReplyDeleteMiss bridges much, as there are a few only here. Once I was asked to build one with Spaghetti, back at the University.
ReplyDeletePlease have a good Tuesday.

Portland is definitely the City to be if you are fascinated by bridges! There are quite a few of them. And you photographed this one beautifully. (I don't have a great sense of direction and something about bridges confuses it even more...can't even count the number of times I've been lost in Portland...used to have lots of meetings etc there....)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great-looking bridge.
ReplyDeleteGreat "up close" look at the bridge
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos of the bridges Al!! =) and the clear blue sky! :)
ReplyDeleteI love taking photos of bridges too - such fascinating structures! And the sky was being a perfect background for your photos. :)
ReplyDeleteAh, but such beautiful photo's. You have to travel a bit and come and see Brunnel's work.. it's right here in the South West of England.
ReplyDeleteJust keep snapping. Love the photo's :-)

I always get scared driving I5 through Portland, especially heading north. That bridge is so high and open. Not good for someone afraid of heights. - Margy
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! Bridges can be quite wonderful! I understand your fascination! (Don't have any here in the desert, either!)
ReplyDeleteheheheh, my husband went underneath our Auckland harbour bridge. i think he lied, he went to went you went. Post it for you next week.
