Al, you are an expert to photograph and capturing lightning. Amazing picture! Last weekend we have here a big storm with many lightning and thunder. And I told to my husband that you took amazing lightning photos.
Awe inspiring and I can't help it, I know you've explained about where you are and so have my CO kids but it still kinda' scares me. But so beautiful!!!

Born in London, I've lived in The Netherlands, New York, and Washington DC. Now I've settled down in Colorado and love taking pictures. Until October 2014 I used a Nikon D40X, but now it's a Nikon D5300. I do almost no photo editing - occasionally I will crop or remove a dust spot, but that's all. What comes out of the camera is what you see here.

Love this image, but you will never find me outside capturing images of lightning. I've been too close to it on several occasions.
