My World Tuesday - Downtown Colorado Springs

For my first My World post, here are a couple of pictures taken in my city, Colorado Springs, this Sunday afternoon. The downtown area looks like that of any other small city - here's a view of Tejon Street.
But turn the corner and the view looks very different, as Pikes Peak towers over the city.
For more pictures showing peoples' worlds, visit the My World home page.

I do so miss Pikes Peak. I love that you included the city in the shot - most people don't. Yay!!!

Beautiful! It must be nice to go about your shopping with such a majestic observer nearby.

I love Pike's Peak. It is one of the most beautiful places in the world--It's been a few years since we've traveled there--perhaps this Fall.

I love the way the cliffs sparkle in the sunlight. I've never seen anything like it!
