My World Tuesday - Downtown Colorado Springs

For my first My World post, here are a couple of pictures taken in my city, Colorado Springs, this Sunday afternoon. The downtown area looks like that of any other small city - here's a view of Tejon Street.
But turn the corner and the view looks very different, as Pikes Peak towers over the city.

  1. I do so miss Pikes Peak. I love that you included the city in the shot - most people don't. Yay!!!

  13. I love Pike's Peak. It is one of the most beautiful places in the world--It's been a few years since we've traveled there--perhaps this Fall.

I love the way the cliffs sparkle in the sunlight. I've never seen anything like it!
