Here's a shot from last weekend's hike to Lilypad Lake, elevation 9,940 feet (3,030 meters) above sea level. It's taken with a very wide fisheye lens, the lake is bigger than it looks here.

Yerba Buena Gardens
For Weekend Reflections, here are some shots from Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco. It includes the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, pictured here.
It was a pretty spot to wander around in.
I always enjoy a city park surrounded by tall buildings, especially when it's not busy.
I had to try my ultrawide fisheye lens.
Here's one more reflection for your viewing pleasure.

Rocky Point Lobos
Point Lobos in California is very rocky.
I found this lovely rocky reflection.
I definitely recommend visiting this park if you're in the Monterey area.
You can even find a beach!

Yosemite Reflections
We didn't have time to do much hiking during our one day at Yosemite, but the trail we did take (Mirror Lake) led to this fabulous scene. I captured all these shots with my ultra-wide-angle fisheye lens; nothing else in the kit did the job.
Here's a slightly wider view of it.
And another a little further down the stream.
Definitely worth the walk, and a perfect Weekend Reflections post.

Mountain Reflections
Taken at The Crags trail last weekend, here's a still pool of water and some pretty reflections from it.

Vegas Oddity
For the last of my Las Vegas photos, here's one of the strangest things I saw (and that's saying something) - a display in the Crystals shopping center with lots of LED numbers and mirrors. Here's a view from above.

Watery Reflections
For Weekend Reflections, here are a couple of watery ones from a hike on Monday, which was a holiday here in America.
It's been raining for ages so the blue sky was nice to see.

Palmer Reservoir
These photos have been waiting over a year to get posted. They're from the reservoir above Palmer Lake.
I'm linking them to the Scenic Weekends and Weekend Reflections memes.

Garden of the Gods Reflections
The very heavy September rains created a once-in-a-generation pond in Garden of the Gods. I got some sunrise photos before work one day, and here they are. The water is all gone now and isn't likely to be back for years, possibly decades.

Summer's Gone
It's official - summer's gone, as we got our first snow on Friday, along with a temperature of 18 F (-8 C).
Looking out our front door it seemed like winter.
But of course, here in Colorado bad weather doesn't last for long, and this was the scene in our local park when I took Socks for a walk this afternoon (the temperature had rebounded to 58 F, or 14.4 C).
I love walking along a sunny trail in a pine forest.
The views towards Pikes Peak are lovely.
Near the end of the walk we approached the lakes.
The sun reflecting off the water through the aspen leaves is welcome.
I leave you with this one final reflection.

Winter Shadows & Reflections
Here are some leftover photos from last November, taken in a park next to a mall (I photographed while my wife shopped). The first is for Shadow Shot Sunday.
And here are some calm waters for Weekend Reflections.
I always love our cold blue winter skies, so I save some winter photos for the hot summer months.

Final Fall Fox Run Photos
Here are the last of my fall photos from nearby Fox Run Park.
This was early October and the leaves were past their best, but they qualify for the Orange Friday meme.
This reflection is for the Weekend Reflections meme.
It's a shame that people feel the need to carve into the trees, they probably don't understand the damage they're doing. Or they don't care.
I'm linking the last photo to Guest Heart Thursday, and it's also a Scenic Sunday post.

Emerald Valley
Here are the last of my photos from Sunday's hike in the Emerald Valley area, off Gold Camp Road just west of Colorado Springs.
Near the beginning of the trail we found a ruined cabin.
We crossed a small stream a couple of times.
The fallen leaves made for a beautiful trail.
It was a lovely hike, and the photos qualify for both Scenic Sunday and a meme I don't believe I've joined before, Weekend Reflections.
