Spectacular Sunrise

A couple of weeks ago I got up to go to work, but before eating breakfast I looked outside and thought that the clouds might be set up for a great sunrise. I grabbed my camera and a few minutes later was rewarded with one of the most amazing sunrises I've ever seen.
Both photos were taken in my front yard, and are straight out of the camera, not edited or altered in any way. For more wonderful worldwide skies, visit the Skywatch Friday meme.

  5. We had a spectacular sunrise a few weeks ago up here in northeastern Colorado. Maybe it was the same sky-but our view was to the west! Some of my kids at school even mentioned seeing the gorgeous sky. ♥♫

  10. Hiya Al,
I don't know how you do it:
    Your pictures are always special.
    These are really exceptional.
But that's not what I mean: how can you move your fingers so fast that you get there first, or at least in the first line??
I try and try. It is a mystery :-)
