Dog Contrast

This week's theme on Tina's PicStory is contrast, so I took a photo of my black dog Socks against white snow. The only good way I've found to photography him is against a light background, preferably with a shallow depth of field, as I did here.
And he's important part of my family's world, so I'm linking this to Our World Tuesday too!

    PS...I grew up and raised my family in Colorado [nearly 50 years]- now retired on the coast in Texas. What part of Colorado living do you like best?
