Las Vegas Statue

For Our World Tuesday this week, here are two photos of a statue on the Strip in Las Vegas. The first is taken during the daytime, the second using the illumination at night (no flash).
I don't have any more details on the statue, but I do have a handful of photos still to post from our April visit to Vegas.

  4. It's a lovely statue, day or night...you saw a lot that is lovely about Las Vegas -- I tend to get lost in the sleaze; you make me want to go back sometime and try again.

  6. These are really interesting carvings reminding me a little of the Garden of Eden story. There are nice surprises to be found in your part of the world. :)

  8. Ah, Siegfried and Roy and their lion.
My first thought was that they looked to be made out of chocolate (I obviously have chocolate on my mind!)

  12. Oh, old familiar faces! Siegfried & Roy were the most popular entertainers in Las Vegas!! Their magic with white tigers or white lions was so impressive. Thanks a lot for sharing great photos.
    Best wishes,

  14. Siegfried and Roy...I have wondered how they are getting along since one of them was attacked so brutallly. I expect it put an end to the show. Nice lighting on these 2 images~
