Stormy Night

Taken later on the same night as last week's rainbow photograph, this week's Skywatch Friday is a cloud illuminating itself at night by lightning. There wasn't much cloud-to-ground lightning out of this storm, but an incredible amount of lightning within the clouds made for a very eerie sight.

  5. That was quite a night! Re your comment on FT-L, I know about those 360 days of sunshine in Colorado -- that's why our kids are there (they researched before they moved -- our dil had SAD when they lived in Seattle -- she's a healthier and happier person now that she lives in CO where she should have always been!
