Pikes Peak from Garden of the Gods

I thought I'd take Tina's PicStory theme of Garden today to post another photo from the Garden of the Gods - a classic view of Pikes Peak. This is a garden indeed!
Colorado Springs is open for business!

  7. The views on the end of the Front Range are stunning - the peak is awesome, a mount of rock so far in the sky. Happily COS is back and smoke free!

  18. Hi there - I like the way the space between the trees leads you into the picture.

Yes, bee-eaters do eat bees, but they will eat just about any other flying insect as well. The remarkable thing they do with bees is to beat them against the branch / twig they are still on to get rid of the sting!
