Red Rock Canyon

I'm still catching up on old photos, which is good since I haven't had a chance to take many the last few weeks. This time it's another city park.
But although the rocks may be similar, it's not Garden of the Gods!
It's Red Rock Canyon, a good place to go in the winter since it's low elevation and doesn't hold too much snow. In fact, maybe Socks and I will head down there tomorrow as these photos are already a year old!

  5. Ya gotta love the red rocks of the southwest -- I can never see enough. I recommend Sedona, AZ for breathtaking rocks.

  6. The kids take us to places like this when we visit because they're beautiful and because being a little lower, as you say, they think there's a better chance we'll survive the walk. Gorgeous pictures -- we loved that place.

  11. Really nice photos Al! (as always). As coincidence would have it, I just got back from Red Rock Canyon also. Of course, it was the one in California and not Colorado.
