This is the scene outside my house today, May 12, after 7 inches (18cm) of fresh snow yesterday and overnight.

Oh my..!! We love snow right, but not in May! The last snowy photo looks as a desert with its beautiful wavy forms. Here we have had rain today..
ReplyDeleteThis was lots of snow so late in the year. Here we have had very little snow this winter. Nice pictures

Al, no wonder you are fed up with winter! Maybe it's time to move again.
ReplyDeleteOh, no!! That's amazing and it does look SO cold, Al!! I bet Socks is really annoyed and I don't blame him!!! Stay warm and have a good week in spite of the snow in MAY!!!
ReplyDeleteI had seen the weather forecast for your neck of the woods, and I was grateful that I live here in Indiana. I hope that the melting of the snow does not bring flooding.
ReplyDeleteOh my ~ It is 70's in MA and back to 50's this week ~ Gorgeous photography ~ despite it being May ~ Have a good week ~ xoxo

oh Al, i'm so sorry you're still enduring winter. i wish i could send some of the warmth we've had to you. it's been a beautiful day here the last several days. but, please don't send the winter back our way as i couldn't bare another snowfall this year. hope all is well. have a great day~
ReplyDeleteYou've got to be wondering when spring will spring! I know it snows late in Colorado, but this is nuts. Send some of that snow down here as rain, please. We need it!
ReplyDeleteWow Al! So much snow in Colorado this year. I have another friend who lives in Colorado City and she's been telling me about the snow. Do you also live at high altitude?
ReplyDeleteOh, no! We haven't had any snow for almost a week and I hope we don't see any next winter. Your photos do make it look pretty, though.
ReplyDeleteOh my! Crazy weather we've had this year.
ReplyDeleteoh no, don't tell me it snows there in may!!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful winter shots.
ReplyDeleteHate seeing snow this time of year, but it won't last long. It will melt and turn all the plants green. Surprising photos however.
ReplyDeleteWe got a foot in the Denver area, but only on the grass and trees. The roads and sidewalks stayed pretty clear as they were warm form the 70 degree weather we had before this cold snap hit. I'll take all this snow anyday instead of wildfires, Al! It will be all gone by Wednesday when it warms up again.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, and I thought we had a long winter here with our last snowstorm mid April!
ReplyDeleteOh no, more snow! Lovely shots, but I expect you want some warmth now.
ReplyDeleteOh my God! It's extraordinary! Wish you warm days and a lot of sun.
ReplyDeleteThat does look cold - and remember if you are getting ready to spend a few weeks at Wilsons Prom - it will be winter here soon as well!!
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
PS: there is a brief explanation of why the beach squeaks in this weeks WBW.
Just got rid of ours!! Boom & Gary.
ReplyDeleteWow, winter really dragged on your side of the world. Hope you get warmth soon. Sending some heat from Texas. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Al, the world is really funny or maybe too extreme. We are too hot waiting for some cold, while you are too cold waiting for some warmth!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, but I am so sorry you have to deal with this!
ReplyDeleteTerrible Colorado winter. I hope there wont be floods again this spring if it melts too fast.
ReplyDeleteAmazing pictures, Al!
ReplyDeleteReally it does look very, very cold!
Definitely my view, too, Al!
ReplyDeleteCool to see so much snow in the heat of summer here. :)
