Hi, those were thick clouds with impending heavy rains. We need those now very badly at the height of this very long dry season. Our plants are dying, the grasses dead, farms are useless, and we feel the intense heat. Anyway, i love the composition too with those lovely landscape.
Great, grumpy, gray skies, Al!! They look like the ones we frequently have in the northwest, but not this year!!! Can't believe the gorgeous weather we have had!! Have a great weekend!
A blanket of clouds, Al. Have you moved? The moisture just keeps coming here in the mountains - I guess we should be happy for it, but I wouldn't mind a sunny day now and then!

Born in London, I've lived in The Netherlands, New York, and Washington DC. Now I've settled down in Colorado and love taking pictures. Until October 2014 I used a Nikon D40X, but now it's a Nikon D5300. I do almost no photo editing - occasionally I will crop or remove a dust spot, but that's all. What comes out of the camera is what you see here.

ReplyDeleteGotta love spring in the midwest!
ReplyDeleteHeard about the rain but the CO family never send pictures, so very interesting to see. Hoping for no repeat of the flooding of a few years ago.
