Ward Reservation

Here are some more photos from the Ward Reservation, near Boston. One of the trails led through a bog, you can see the wooden planks in this shot.
Here's a close-up of the swampy plants.
There was so much growth compared to the dry climate where I live, even in the forest.
Ferns were everywhere.
There were nice views at the top of the hill.
Downtown Boston was visible in the distance.

  8. An interesting place to take a hike near Boston, Al. It is so green compared to here in Colorado! My younger brother lives in southern Massachusetts--lovely state!

  9. That was a lovely place to visit, i most specially like the distance comparison of the last photo. At least you have sometime to be in different zones for different landscapes and vegetation. But i am sure you will find our own tropical landscapes very different.
