Here are some more photos from the Ward Reservation, near Boston. One of the trails led through a bog, you can see the wooden planks in this shot.
Here's a close-up of the swampy plants.
There was so much growth compared to the dry climate where I live, even in the forest.
Ferns were everywhere.
There were nice views at the top of the hill.
Downtown Boston was visible in the distance.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for joining Blue Monday at Backyard Neighbor. Your post is lovely and the detail is perfect in the greenery shots. Amazing view of Boston with the blue sky pic and the trees in the foreground.

ReplyDeleteHappy Week to you ~ ^_^
An interesting place to take a hike near Boston, Al. It is so green compared to here in Colorado! My younger brother lives in southern Massachusetts--lovely state!
ReplyDeleteThat was a lovely place to visit, i most specially like the distance comparison of the last photo. At least you have sometime to be in different zones for different landscapes and vegetation. But i am sure you will find our own tropical landscapes very different.
ReplyDeleteHello, looks like a pretty trail and place to walk. I love the ferns. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your week ahead!
