I took time to visit relatives on Long Island last time I was in New York, and here are some shots of the beautiful Northport harbor.

    One of my childhood friends moved from Brooklyn to East Northport, LI and I have fond memories of visiting her. Long Island has so many beautiful ports and seasides

    It is always fun to see the boats in a harbor and think about taking them out. Would love to travel on that blue hulled schooner in your last photo. Looks like a classy boat.

    That's our kind of place! I wonder how many of these boats make their way down to Florida when the weather begins to turn? It sure was pretty there when you took the picture.

    The harbor photos are beautiful. I love the blues and the boats. Great shots and I am sure you had a wonderful time there.
