Garrison Dam

For this week's Skywatch Friday post, here are a couple of shots of the Garrison Dam in North Dakota.
At over two miles (3.2 km) in length, it's the fifth-largest earthen dam in the world. We were lucky enough to drive over it on a beautiful day.

  1. This looks like a giant dam and reservoir! Hoping for some rain to fill up Colorado's reservoirs and end the fires.

  2. I don't think I've ever seen a real huge dam with my own eyes.

  3. Have you been to all 50 states? It seems like it. Happy weekend.

  4. Super photo, and the weather a bonus!
