Light Snow in the Park

On Saturday, Socks and I went for a walk in the local Fox Run Park after a couple of inches of snow.
It wasn't enough snow to make walking difficult (even for little Socks), but it certainly made the park pretty.
I was intrigued by the patterns of the snow on the pine needles in this sheltered hollow.
We may get more snow Monday night and Tuesday, but they're not really sure yet. To see warmer parts of the world, visit the enlightening My World Tuesday meme.

    Well the snow..did make the park beautiful..BUT..y'all can keep it. It was 82 degrees Thurs here and 34 today..mother nature just can't make up her mind.

    I loved the texture of these shots. It's almost 3D! It's so nice to see someone that pays attention to the details of the natural world. These are great!

    I think the last picture is the best of the lot. We can forget that wonderful pictures can be found just at our feet. It's not always about distance, distance and more distance!
