Yet More Trees

For My World Tuesday this week, here are some shots of yet more trees from Fox Run Park today, where Socks and I went for a walk. It doesn't show up in the photos, but frost was melting from the tree tops; I was hoping to catch some of that but the light wasn't right. But I still liked the mottled sunlight on the forest floor.

  1. Don't worry, Al, your shots are good as if you couldn't show us that frost was melting: we can imagine....
    Have a nice new week.

  4. I love the subtle lighting that speaks of the changing seasons -- at least to me. I can almost feel the stillness and what a great place for a walk! I sure you and Socks had a great time! Enjoy your week, Al!

  5. The light through the Ponderosa forest makes me very homesick for the North Rim. Less than a month away.

  11. A bit like 'an empty page' spring to write upon. Thank you for this escape and ability to breath.

    Please have a good Tuesday.

  12. Nice pixs. I always find it amazing how something ordinary can still looking interesting. I never seemed to accomplish it quite right in my own photos but looking here, I think it's all finding the center point of interest. That tree in the middle from the first two photos and the fallen branches from the third.

  14. Those look like some old-growth trees, Al. Did you have snow this AM? (Lots in Breck and a bit in the city.)

  19. Wow--what a wonderful place to walk--it seems to me there would be a heady fragrance in the air.

And so dry. I shall pray some of our rain out your way. It is SO rainy here--even for Oregon.
