Back to Las Vegas for My World Tuesday, here are some photos from inside Caesars Palace, specifically the Forum shops. To start with, I found this circular escalator very interesting - I don't remember seeing one before.
And of course, typical over-the-top Vegas glitz, this time meaning lots of faux-Roman statues, among lots of shops. These photos are all taken indoors.
Still, it's certainly attractive in its way.

Fun, fantastic captures, Al!! I particularly love the second one with the statue against that lovely sky! Superb composition! Hope your week is off to a great start!

Just marvelous. We were in Las Vegas recently for our 50th Anniversary to see the Lion King at Mandalay Bay. Wow, there are some fantastic hotels on the strip.
ReplyDeleteso fantastic!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place with so many nice sculptures.
ReplyDeleteThis circular escalator is unique, indeed. A Romanesque staircase that moves, as well as replicas from ancient times amid modern day features, creates an interesting contrast. It is all very eye-catching that is for sure. :)
ReplyDeleteThe statue, the fountain, and even the escalator are really over the top, I'm still grinning.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting them, for nature loving me, it is like being on another planet!
I actually enjoyed this part of LV very much. (Not a gambler at all -- and not really a shopper (no room for stuff in our small houses), but this was just a fun area to browse around in -- as you say over the top -- but that's fun sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI`ve never been to Vegas and I`ve never seen a circular escalator but it`s a lovely shot. Great composition.
ReplyDeleteAl, I had not seen such a beautiful
