Rattlesnake Ledge & Drums

Going back to our Mach trip to the Seattle area, this photo shows where a hike was intended to lead. We didn't make it to the top because of the snow.
But the nearby visitor center had a famous drum exhibit, in which the drums are played by  raindrops.
It's a quick post for Our World Tuesday.

  1. Great captures for the day, Al! I hope you're not being affected by the flooding!! It's looked so devastating!!! Take care, stay safe, and give Socks a pat for me!

  2. Beautiful photos!
From fires to flooding...sorry to hear about all of the devastation in the state. It sounds like the Colorado Springs area is doing okay - hope all is well.

  9. Love the idea of the raindrop drums. How clever. Often listen to the rain beating down onto a flat roof next door.

  11. What really awed me in visiting temperate countries is the sameness of vegetation in most landscape, like that first one! And your photo is really lovely, but that 2nd one's composition i love most. There are even colorful glitters on the branch.
