On Saturday I went for a hike with Socks; it was over 70° F (21° C).
On Monday morning I woke up to 11° F (-12° C) and several inches of fresh snow in the front yard.
There's more photos to come from the hike. Visit Skywatch Friday for more beautiful skies.

ReplyDeleteBoy, it's the winter that never ends!
ReplyDeleteThat would be Colorado weather in a nutshell! I tell our CO kids I'd be more nutty than I am if I lived there ... not knowing from one day to the next what the weather would be. They, however, love it. (I really don't mind it either -- and we've visited in almost every month, so we've experienced some of those rapid changes.)
ReplyDeleteThe contrasts in temperature over a short period of time are amazing. But all scenes are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos for SWF ~ love the contrasting weather ~ the same was happening in MA ~ happy weekend ~ summer will be next ~ xoxo

I love the blue skies with white fluffy clouds blending well with the white snow. Very nice capture.
ReplyDeleteThe snow is so pretty it looks like boiled frosting on a red velvet cake. So lovely! I'm sure you are ready for Spring though like we are here in Illinois. It snowed recently here too.

It's a lovely place, and such a different climate. Summer the one day and snow the other day! But what's the world without contrasts ;)
