Baileyana Vineyards

Last time I was in California (almost a year ago!) we visited a couple of winemakers in the San Luis Obispo area. These photos are all from The Baileyana Vineyards. It's such a pretty area! Unfortunately I was the driver so I didn't get to try the wines...

  4. Seems very unfair to be visiting the vineyards but unable to taste the end result.

  6. I live in the south west corner of Western Australia - a very well known wine growing area. I am so lucky to live so close to it. We have views like this too, but without the mountains.
Have a great week. I am joining you at Our World Tuesday.

  12. That looks like just a few miles up the road from us. California and South Australia are very similar.

PS: I am glad you liked to see these photos of my city. The Santa Claus photo was taken in December 2007. I just added that note on my post. Thank you for that.

  17. Such enormous vineyards! We don't have it here.. I don't think.. and mountains of sand. I guess it's a rich soil for grapes to grow.
Today it's sunny and warm here! :)
