A few days ago it was over 80° F (26.7° C) at my house. It was 29° F (-1.6° C) this morning, and this was the scene that greeted me.
I'm sure the trees are confused with this late summer snow!
And the dogs will wonder what's going on.
It will warm up again by the weekend. This is an amusing extra Skywatch Friday post.

Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYeah, my family in S. Dakota got snowed on yesterday too! Crazy!
ReplyDeleteAh, the winter is coming to get us, that's for sure!! What a fun capture for the day! Hope you and the doggies have a great weekend, Al, regardless of the weather!!
ReplyDeleteHeard all about your Freeze this side of the pond. Brr.....
ReplyDeleteThink we might have a few more weeks of good weather yet. Thinking of you, better get your winter woolies out :-) XXX
I'm glad it hasn't started yet up here in my part of Canada. Yuck.
ReplyDeleteMakes for some awesome photos though :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed at the fluctuation in weather you get. An if you want heat, come join us in S CA... triple digits for the next few days!
ReplyDeleteWow! A shock in more ways than one! :-)
ReplyDeleteHow crazy - but lovely!
ReplyDeleteTry and keep that white stuff from spreading down here to Oklahoma.
ReplyDeleteTooo early! But as you say it won't last. (The first time we visited our kids after they moved to CO was about this time of year and we had a pretty good snow one morning (I'd been in shorts and tshirt the day before there) -- we had our brand new RV and I was afraid we were going to be snowed in for the winter. Geoff told me it would melt by the next day and he was right. Now I know all about changeable Colorado weather.
ReplyDeleteWow! Snow already. Beautiful photos. I'm in California, just hoping for rain.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteYour house is gorgeous, Al!
Oh my..
