On Sunday afternoon we were above 61° F (16° C). By Tuesday night temperatures dropped below -3° F (-19.4° C), and Wednesday night was -11° F (-24° C) - that's a 72° F (40° C) drop in a couple of days. The cold doesn't bother little Socks as he's got a thick coat, although he still can't stay out too long because it hurts his paws. But Laika's fur is very short, so it's time for her to start wearing her new winter coat when we take her out.
It's easy to put on with Velcro fasteners. Isn't she fashionable? I didn't know how she'd react to it, but it doesn't bother her at all.

ReplyDelete۵ Olá!
Muito charmoso com o casaco novo, mas o que me impressiona é os olhos dele na segunda foto... muito expressivos.
Ótimas fotos como sempre!!!

ReplyDeleteI can not believe it !. + 16º temperatures down to -24ª !!! Wow.
This seems much when going from 24th to 16th. No wonder Laika need a heavy coat.
Very nice photos.

ReplyDeleteShe is so darn cute!
ReplyDeleteThat darn arctic blast! Glad she likes her new coat. Maybe you can convince them to wear boots so their feet can be warm, too.
ReplyDeleteI think she's proud of it!!! Quite the fashion model.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Our friends in Va have a little dog that turns into a wolverine when you try to put his coat on. So funny!
