Oh my gosh you nearly scared me to death. I thought my colorado kids had lied to me ))). OK taking a deep breath here and now that I know it isn't this week I can acknowledge that those truly are beautiful pictures!
Makes a great photo, but I wouldn't want to be there (or here) when that happens. I see that yesterday? they had a ton of hail. I'll stick with Wisconsin, where at least our forever cold is predictable. LOL

Born in London, I've lived in The Netherlands, New York, and Washington DC. Now I've settled down in Colorado and love taking pictures. Until October 2014 I used a Nikon D40X, but now it's a Nikon D5300. I do almost no photo editing - occasionally I will crop or remove a dust spot, but that's all. What comes out of the camera is what you see here.

Beautiful winter shots of frosted ice.
ReplyDeleteWhen it is really, really warm outside the way it is now where I live, a stick of ice crystals looks as delicious as an ice-cream cone.

ReplyDeleteI am glad you like Scriabin too.
It is refreshing to look at your photo as we just came in – it is in the high 80 F outside. For some reason it also looks appetizing ...
