New York City 2001

Here's a photo from when we were in New York City back in 2001, just a few weeks before 9/11. Yes, it was taken at the the top of the World Trade Center. I have very few photos from this trip.

    When I saw New York 2001, ,my heart did flip flops. I'm not American.but remember that awful time in world history.

    I was in New York on December 2017 and I took this shot from One World Trade Center. Best regards from Italy.

    That gives me the shivers. My husband was on a training program with a financial firm in one of the towers the week before 9/11. Too close for comfort! I hope we have not forgotten the lessons of that day.

    I'm sure you thought back to that NYC trip many times on 9-11 Al. My husband worked in the World Trade Center Complex. We lost friends and neighbors that tragic day.
