Last week for Scenic Sunday I left you at Bellevue's Newcastle Beach Park. This week I'm showing you a nature trail next to that beach. It was typical Western Washington, with lots of green vegetation. It ran near the lake for a while.
After a short distance it turned inland among the trees.

If you end up at the beach, this short trail is well worth exploring.

Beautiful pictures. This is a lot like where we stay when we're in the PNW, which is Western Oregon. Just as you do, I love the contrast between this area and beautiful Colorado!

So green, Al - all that moisture, I guess. Are you back home for CO's leaves changing? I was in Vail today and their aspens are not nearly as changed as ours in Summit - another week maybe.
ReplyDeleteHi there - interesting picture! What’s the round thing in the water?

I can almost smell the freshness of the vegetation along the water.

ReplyDeleteOh ya, my kind of place!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words, Al. I talked with Clytie a little while ago--a good sign, she says she's bored already. I'm going to pick up some stuff for her to do while she's at the hospital tomorrow, then I'll visit.
ReplyDeleteThanks for our kind words and prayers, Al. You are very special to Clytie and to me.
By the way--these photos are amazing.
The greens in the forest path are rich and varied... What a gorgeous scene, Al.
