Nothing spectacular for Skywatch Friday this week, just some pleasant skies from the nearby Black Forest Regional Park where Socks and I went for a hike last weekend. As you can see, most of the snow is gone.
There were some clouds off in the distance, but it was a beautiful day.
And remember, never look into the Sun. Otherwise you might get a strange spot in your photo, and other bad things!
I'll never tire of all the incredible blue skies we get here in Colorado - I've never lived anywhere else like this. For lots of lovely skies, visit the Skywatch Friday meme.

Hi Al
hai ragione, il blu del cielo è veramente fantastico !!!!
Meraviglioso luogo da scoprire.
Buona giornata... la mia è ancora molto lunga a causa del lavoro !!!!!
Ciao Myriam :))
It's looking a lot like spring! What wonderful blue skies.
Hiya Al,
Never mind the photo: Beware of getting it in your EYE.
Very important warning indeed. I've been thinking about it a lot lately, as it is so easy to get carried away.
Hiding behind a tree helps :-)
Is that what you did for that third image?
Thank your for sharing that blue sky with us all.
I would like to be there in amongst the trees looking up at the sky. :)
Beautiful. Last one is terrific.
loving the tall trees reaching into the endless sky... beautiful!
grrreat shots, especially in the 1st pic... love that perspective... the trees look even taller! =)
hope you have a fantastic weekend! =)
I love the flare in the last one!
The strange 'spot' is probably if you are using a UV filter on your lens. I know I do when taking moon photos.
Truely beautiful !!1
Yes...looking into the sun can also damage your cameras sensors too...scary.
Love the trees and the blue skies!
How beautiful!
Happy SWF.

I am trying to absorb some much-needed vitamin D from your photos.
Neither do I. I can never get OD'd on Colorado skies, so keep 'em coming.
I never tire of blue skies either. Great shots!
Love to see growing trees around. Great capture. Happy weekend!
Full Moon

I love your photos. The top one makes me feel like I am walking right in the middle of a wonderful forest.
So true about the blue skies. It's so calming to look up when there's no cloud in sight. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo ready for that.
Second shot is gorgeous and very beautiful :)
Beautiful series! I love the angle looking up at the trees and the last shot with the beautiful blues is gorgeous. Happy skywatching!
