Sleigh Ride
Going back to Keystone one more time, here are some photos from the sleigh ride we took.
The ride goes out to an old camp with some wonderful wooden buildings. You can take an evening sleigh ride here and have dinner, but we just did the daytime ride.
But the main attraction for me was the gorgeous, unspoiled beauty.

Such a fitting destination and a sleigh like a London double decker bus. I have never seen one of that size before and I lived at a time when motor cars were a rarity on the land and sleighs in winter were the norm.

ReplyDeleteHi Al, At first I thought you were visiting Steamboat - the barn and sleigh reminded me of that landscape. What wonderful shots. We just took our Grandkids to Keystone for the evening fondue - it was VERY crowded at the end of the ski day, but after our night Gondola ride, it was peaceful. I love the sky in the last shot! Wide unspoiled space...
