Summer Lightning

I've had no time to take photos the last week, so here's an archived photo from a summer thunderstorm, captured in my yard. It's not the clearest lightning photo I've taken, but I like the way it captured two separate lightning strikes.
I was asked who made the antler arch from the previous post, and unfortunately I don't know. I do know that you can find more skies both dramatic and placid on the great Skywatch Friday meme.

Oh, this is fantastic, Al! So dramatic! I've hoped that some day I might be able to catch stormy skies like this, but I don't think I'm that good. I'll still give a shot though if I get the opportunity! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy!

You are a real master of lightning shots. We hardly ever get thunderstorms here, so I love seeing your clear lightning bolts.

another antler arch?
one made serendipitously. Or perhaps you being lucky enough to capture it is where serendipity comes in.

I'm not sure I've ever seen such dramatic lightening let alone managed to catch it - amazing xo

I am usually in a room with no windows when lightning like that is happening. Great capture. Have a blessed week-end.

Hi - the high ISO speeds on my camera (D90) make it seem you could shot in the dark! Good luck with the new camera.
