Gorgeous captures as always, Al! I do love your composition in the second one, the way you have framed the sky! Beautiful! Hope you've had a good week so far! Enjoy! Give Socks a pat for me!
Nadine was based on a real person. That was my first venture into writing five years ago. I posted the rest of the story in my http://annkschin.blogspot.com/2008/11/nadine-chapter-one.html This was the reason why I started blogging. It was to showcase my writing. Of course, at that time, I didn't know any of you, so my writings were not read. Thank you all for reading and commenting.
I think the top photo is the better of the two. I do like your B&W Fox Run Park Tree shot.
Thanks for dropping by and commenting on my tutorial. HDR? Yeah right. The idea makes sense for taming extreme contrast but may just be a bit over used these days.
Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment - I love reading them and look forward to viewing your blog. If you only allow Google+ comments I won't be able to leave a comment in return.
Born in London, I've lived in The Netherlands, New York, and Washington DC. Now I've settled down in Colorado and love taking pictures. Until October 2014 I used a Nikon D40X, but now it's a Nikon D5300. I do almost no photo editing - occasionally I will crop or remove a dust spot, but that's all. What comes out of the camera is what you see here.

The second photo really struck me. Perfectly framed, contrary to many I love hazy photographs because they are so darned real!
ReplyDeleteThe mountains are framed beautifully.
