For this week's Scenic Sunday, here are a couple of photos of Portland's Convention Center, possibly the city's most recognizable building.
Although we spent less than one day there, I thought Portland was an attractive city.

A spectacular scenery.... fantastic shots ...
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Karin
Even though I live fairly close to Portland, I rarely go to the City. I have been to the Convention Center a couple of times, and it's as attractive inside as it is outside!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo's Al!
ReplyDeleteI love the view...
Have a nice weekend and greetings from Holland,
Anna ;-))
That is an outstanding shot.
ReplyDeleteYes, it certainly looks like a beautiful city. I like the two towers here, which you have captured wonderfully.
ReplyDeleteWe love Portland...of course we've spent a few more than one day there (since we lived just 100 miles down the freeway for about 30 years)! But like on this roadtrip we're on now, just driving by on the freeway on our way to Washignton made us happy -- it really is a lovely City. (And a great place to hang out -- hope you get to stay longer next time).
ReplyDeletePortland's Convention Center is really an amazing building!
ReplyDeleteHave a pleasant weekend.

ReplyDeleteSpectacular Geometry in blue sky,

Very attractive. Portland looks like it must be a delightful city to visit.
ReplyDeletewhere is Portland? In High School, I studied American Geography, and am sure I studied about Portland.
ReplyDeleteI will link that old photo to Sunday Scans. I forgot about this altogether.

Ann
