The autumn color is past its best in my part of the country, as I discovered on a hike on Saturday. I found almost no trees with their leaves still intact.
So I decided to focus on the remaining aspen leaves instead of whole trees, using my 50mm f/1.4 to narrow the depth of field.
I liked the results, especially this last shot.

I do love these captures of the leaves, Al, they are beautiful!! We aren't losing many leaves yet, but they are SO colorful!! Hope you have a great new week!!
ReplyDeleteLovely macro shot. Autumn never lasts long enough in my opinion. (The more I age the more that feels like a fearfully close metaphor for life).
ReplyDeleteIt looks so much more yellow as an individual leaf than when you look at it as part of the tree.
