Here's a random photo I took for Skywatch Friday, of an electricity pylon in Pulpit Rock Park. These blue skies are very common here year-round - we get over 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, more than anywhere in Europe.

Oh, WOW!! That's amazing -- surely a lot more than we get in Oregon!! Great shot for the day, Al, as always! Hope your week is going well!

Gorgeous blue!
ReplyDeleteWorth a Thousand Words
Wonderful capture against blue sky.
ReplyDeleteInteresting how the electricity pylons are different in different parts of the country. I don't think I've seen one like this!
ReplyDeleteNow that's a great blue sky!
ReplyDeleteA lovely blue sky.
ReplyDeleteMore than many places in the US too (greetings from Oregon ;>)! I do love Colorado blue skies, so do my son and DIL, who moved there specifically because of that number of sunny days!
ReplyDeleteWe have mostly blue skies in Tucson also, except during the summer monsoons. Nice shot of the blue!
ReplyDeleteA very interesting picture.
As an idea, it could cut into 1x1 format, leaving only the top, treeless ... and you'd have a picture with a very different style. Neither better nor worse.
